Hello to all Sangonet members. I have a question for you: Do you think that the goals ofSANGONeT and its members would be advanced by obtaining major improvements in the government regulation of telecommunications in the nations of Southern Africa?

I am a law professor in telecommunications, after 30 years as a United States trial lawyer representing small competitors against AT&T in both the courts and the FCC and other regulatory agencies. I lectured in telecommunications law and policy last year at the School of Law of the University of Cape Town.

I care very much for the people of Southern Africa and would like to find an opportunity to use my expertize in helping to advance competitive communications laws in the nations of Southern Africa.
